Labs is where we have all the fun and let you in on a few secrets! Labs is where we will be showcasing all the projects we are working on to help clients search and find our fantastic artists, but it’s not just a place for search gizmos and gadgets… In the future we will be showing off a number of projects that relate to the promotion of illustrators and the illustration industry as a whole. Labs will be in constant flux, so please keep checking to see our newest adventures and experiments!

Illustrator GeoMapping is our attempt at allowing you to find an illustrator based on their location. The lab experiment should definitely be considered as a beta test. The map takes a while to load the markers and if too many people view it at the same time it will not work due to a 50,000 request per 24 hours API limit. Click on the red markers to see more information about the artist in that area. We hope you find this tool useful!

Tweets from the artists is a collection of twitterings from the members of Hire an illustrator!. Each time you refresh the page you’ll be shown tweets from different artist so if you see something that interests you please feel free to follow them. To follow an artist a Twitter account is required.

White Labelled Portfolios will be a way for artists to have their very own website without needing to do anything except update their Hai! profile. Illustrators will have the option to have their own personalised URL with no reference to Hai! within the URL or site. This white label system will be avaliable to all of our members.
