How many years have you been a freelance illustrator?

13 years. I left college in 1995 and just went out with my portfolio, give us a job style. And it worked! Although my work was very different then, much more photographic and photoshoptastic. My first job was for Marie Claire, woman’s health page, delivered on a syquest disk via the royal mail no less!

How reliable are you?

What do you expect me to say!  come on!…… very!

In a commercial sense what can your work be applied too?

My work is mostly editorial with a sprinkling of design work and advertising. Recently did illustrations for a web design job for subaru in the USA.

Who are your top clients?

Well, over the years I’ve worked for everyone from the Wall Street Journal  to side parting weekly!

Apart from illustration what other skills do you have?

Great cook, great guitarist, fantastic snow-border, brilliant sailer….. Great at playing the trumpet as well!

What’s your favourite sandwich filling?

Ham and mustard.
