How many years have you been a freelance illustrator?

All my life! I always have been ready to draw for money and in exchange for free things!, but in that case I draw just what I want! I think we can say I began a serious career as a freelance illustrator 8 years ago.

How reliable are you?

I always meet my deadlines. In some cases, when  think I can do it better, I finish the illo on time and then I ask for more time to work on some details. If there is no time it doesn’t matter the illo is done and ready. If there is time I try to improve it.

In a commercial sense what can your work be applied too?

I do portraits and they can be used in a lot of different articles: reviews, interviews, biographies, entertainment, politics, sports.

Who are your top clients?

The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Time, LA Magazine, Texas Monthly, Paste, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, etc…

Apart from illustration what other skills do you have?

I watch a lot of TV.

What’s your favourite sandwich filling?

Very Simple: Cheese and Tomato.
