Adriana de Barros is an artist, writer, and poet. She grew
up in Toronto, Canada, and moved back at the age of fifteen to her
birthplace of Caldas da Rainha, Portugal where she resides and
works.
Her trademark is her multi-discipline exploration in art, cinema,
music, and literature, which she unites into many of her projects.
From creating film-like, frame-by-frame Flash visual poems to
founding Scene360.com, an eight-year old online film and arts
magazine.
Most recent print mentions included STEP Inside Design (2004), ITCH
(2004), Curvy and Curvy2, (2004 and 2005), a case study included in "Identity
Crisis: 50 Redesigns That Transformed Stale Identities into Successful Brands" (2007),
and Digital Art's interview "Living the Dream" (2008).
In addition, de Barros' paintings has been displayed in group art
shows in Portugal and around the world.
